AMS is a Pre-Kindergarten (K4) through Grade 8 school.

Location
Ahkwesahsne Mohawk School is located on Kawehno:ke (Cornwall Island), or commonly known as “the Island”. It is a part of the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk territory that straddles Ontario, Quebec and New York State.
School Hours
The instructional day is from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Please do not drop off students at the school before 7:55 a.m. as there will be no supervision.
No student will be allowed to be dropped off until their temperature has been checked by staff.
All students arriving after 8:00 a.m. are considered tardy.
No Parking in Designated School Bus Drop-Off / Pick-Up Locations
In order to ensure the safety of all students and staff, there is absolutely NO PARKING in designated school bus drop-off and pick up areas during the following times: 7:30 – 9:00 am and 2:00 – 3:45 pm.
Students will not be released early except for a valid reason. Parents who arrive early for pick-up will be asked to wait until the dismissal bell rings.
All AMBE Schools Are “Allergy Aware”
All AMBE schools are allergy aware and have over the past few years seen an increase amount of allergies to certain foods (i.e. peanut butter). It is each parent’s responsibility to complete the allergy history on the student information sheet so that school personnel know the type and severity of any allergies that the child has.
